“This volume in the Making Good Choices series allows readers to explore actions and consequences in the everyday context of a trip to the library. Readers can choose the main character’s actions and are then directed to various endings, such as leaving the library after being too loud or getting to stay and enjoy the visit quietly. The charming illustrations highlight the characters’ expressions and thoughts. Unusually and commendably, although the main character is clearly depicted as a Muslim girl, her identity goes without comment; this is a story about behavior at the library. Thoughtful “Think Again” questions explicitly relate the situation in the story to the reader’s own life. This appealing book is not only a helpful teaching tool but also a pleasure for adults and children to read.””—Miriam Aronin
